1. Daniel Ross Kilpatrick (1821-1914) was a Free Church minister.

1.1. David Kilpatrick (b.1849) was the son of Daniel Ross Kilpatrick. He was a Free Church minister.

1.2. Thomas Buchanan Kilpatrick (1857-1930) was the son of Daniel Ross Kilpatrick. He was a Free Church minister. He married: (1) Anna M. Kelso Orr, the daughter of George Orr, a Free Church minister; and (2) Jane Menzies Binnie, the daughter of William Binnie, a Free Church minister, and Janet Fairbairn, the sister of John Clarkston Fairbairn, a Free Church minister. Jane Binnie’s sister, Margaret Binnie, married James Hunter, the minister of the Reformed Presbyterian Church, Falkirk, Stirlingshire: FRPCS, p.13
