1. Archibald Colquhoun, farmer, Muckairn, Argyll.
1.1. Malcolm Colquhoun (1758-1819) was the son of Archibald Colquhoun, farmer. He was minister of the Gaelic Chapel, Dundee: FES, Vol.5, p.333.
1.1.1. Archibald Colquhoun was the son of Malcolm Colquhoun, Dundee. He was a minister in Canada: probably FES, Vol.7, p.630.
1.1.2. Mary Colquhoun (b.c.1799-1866) was the daughter of Malcolm Colquhoun, Dundee. She married John Shaw, minister of Bracadale, Isle of Skye, Inverness-shire: FES, Vol.7, p.167.
1.1.2.1. Margaret Shaw was the daughter of John Shaw, Bracadale. She was a Church of Scotland missionary in India, and married, as his second wife, James Mitchell, who became a Free Church missionary there.
1.1.2.1.1. William Kinnaird Mitchell (1827-1876) was the son of James Mitchell by his first wife. He was a Free Church minister. His mother was probably Jessie Kinnaird, whose sister, Jane Kinnaird, married David Simpson, a Free Church minister.
1.1.2.1.1.1. Mary Jane Simpson Mitchell (b.c.1855-1922) was the daughter of William Kinnaird Mitchell. She married Duncan Stewart, a Free Church minister.
1.1.2.2. Agnes Shaw (b.c.1822-1884) was the daughter of John Shaw, Bracadale. She married William Brown, a Free Church minister.
1.1.2.3. Joanna Mary Shaw (b.1823) was the daughter of John Shaw, Bracadale. She married Alexander Garden Fraser, a Free Church minister. His sister, Sarah Emily Fraser, married Allan Sinclair, a Free Church minister, and his sister, Helen Sinclair, married Allan MacPherson, a Free Church minister.
